两颗种子的选择

Two seeds lay under the same garden wall. The first seed was afraid of the cold air and refused to grow until every danger had passed. The second seed decided to send one small root into the dark soil. Rain bent its first leaf, but the root held firmly.

Weeks passed. The careful seed still waited below, safe but unchanged. The growing seed became a young plant and provided shade for a beetle. Its roots grew stronger each time the wind moved its leaves. Then a hungry bird discovered the seed that had never opened and ate it. The story does not say that every risk leads to success. It says that avoiding all change can have a result too.
